In spite of all of the chaos that surrounds Christmas, I really made an effort this year to do some fun things with Rachel. We talked more about baby Jesus and what Christmas really means this year now that she is understanding a little more. And I acutally managed to use our advent calendar more than half of the 25 days. One of the days we made this Gingerbread house. We bought a kit from Trader Joes (one of my new favorite places!) and enjoyed some time together. She was very excited about it as you can see.
